Situated on the A3057 from Romsey to Stockbridge, the Bear and Ragged Staff is the perfect base for walkers and cyclists and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We have a large free car park and can open from 10am for coffee, if required, before the start of your walk. If you are looking to organise a walking party for a large group, please get in contact with us directly. We can even arrange lunch pre-orders so that your food is ready and waiting for you on your return.

There are several walks from us that take you through Michelmersh, Mottisfont and even along the Test Way. A favourite is the Michelmersh Circular Walk which is 4.5 miles and takes around 2 hours.

We are a dog friendly pub and are happy to welcome your four legged friend before you set off for your walk.
